Therapeutic Massage at Mission Chiropractic
Therapeutic massage is an integral part of the care we offer at Mission Chiropractic. Massage is performed by Certified and Licensed Massage Therapists trained in a variety of modalities including deep tissue massage, sports massage, relaxation, seated.
We offer 30-minute and 60-minute massages Monday-Saturday. It is not necessary to be a patient at our office but Chiropractic care and massage are a natural complement to one another.
Mission Chiropractic Massage Benefits
Massage is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues. In addition to pain reduction, increased function and increased range of motion studies also indicate that massage reduces stress and blood pressure and increases circulation and a sense of well-being.
Conditions commonly treated in our massage sessions include back pain, neck pain, muscle spasms, headaches, frozen shoulder, arthritis, tendonitis and other musculoskeletal problems.
Massage may also be prescribed post-surgically to minimize the formation of scar tissue. As with any massage we may suggest an increase in water intake following your session as well as limiting vigorous workouts or activities for the remainder of the day.

We will ask that you complete a short intake form on your initial visit so that our massage therapists are able to provide the best care specifically for you.
Our massage sessions are hands-on for a full 60 minutes or 30 minutes, unlike spas or massage businesses who provide 50-minute hands-on sessions.
We often have specials for our patients but we do not have clubs or memberships requiring recurring credit card charges.
